Technical planning and design in industrial steel construction

Service profile overview

Dopplmair Engineering supports industrial companies in the planning, development, and refinement of complex steel construction projects. The focus is on plants in the metallurgical industry. In addition, special solutions such as pipeline bridges, crane runway girders, and load-bearing special structures are also implemented – often during ongoing operations and over extended project periods.

Planning

The focus is on the well-thought-out and practical implementation of technical requirements. From preliminary planning to the ready-to-execute solution, every step is closely coordinated with the client. Decades of experience with existing industrial plants enable us to plan even complex framework conditions in a targeted manner.

Statics

Structural design is carried out in close consultation with authorized civil engineers. This covers both new buildings and structural analyses for existing structures, for example when extending, strengthening, or adapting crane runway girders, platforms, or supporting structures in existing buildings.

Structural design

The design is developed using modern 3D planning and industry-specific software. Typical services include the development of connection details, workshop drawings, overviews, and manufacturing specifications, always with a view to later execution and assembly.

Project Management

Technical projects require a clear point of contact. Dopplmair Engineering handles the coordination with specialist planners, trades, and executing companies, from preparing offers and clarifying interfaces to technical coordination during implementation.

Assembly Support

The office remains available for technical questions and clarifications of details even during the execution phase. Design adjustments are implemented promptly as needed to ensure that assembly and commissioning can proceed without delay.
